Hyperliquid referral code: 4% off fees, stated precisely
Using a referral code takes 4% off your Hyperliquid trading fees for your first $25M of volume. It costs you nothing, it stacks with every other discount, and it can only be applied before your first trade. Here is exactly what it does, and what it does not.
Referral code
GETACCESS
Entry-tier taker fee falls from 0.045% to 0.0432%.
Disclosure: we earn a commission from Hyperliquid at no cost to you.
The exact terms

| When it can be applied | Before your first trade, never after |
| Applies to vaults or sub-accounts | No |
| Stacks with staking and volume tiers | Yes, multiplicatively |
| Cost to you | Nothing |
| What the referrer receives | 10% of your fees after your discount, for your first $1B of volume |
| Volume needed to create your own code | $10,000 |
What it saves you
Enter your own volume. The calculator applies the discount to the entry-tier rates.
Volume tiers and staking discounts change these numbers, and they stack with this one. The full fee calculator combines all three.
How it stacks with the other discounts
Cost of a $10,000 taker order as each discount is added
- Base rate, no discounts $4.50 0.045% Tier 0, nothing staked
- With referral code $4.32 0.0432% 4% off, applies from trade one
- Referral + Silver staking $3.67 0.03672% Over 1,000 HYPE staked and linked
- Referral + Diamond staking $2.59 0.02592% Over 500,000 HYPE staked
- Everything, at the top volume tier $1.38 0.01382% Over $7B of 14-day volume as well
The referral discount is the only lever here that requires no capital, no volume history and no waiting. That is the whole argument for it. The other four levers, ranked.
How to apply it
- Do this before your first trade. A wallet that has traded can never attach a code.
- Open the app through the link above, or type GETACCESS on the referrals screen.
- Check the referrals screen shows a code attached to your address.
- Then connect, deposit and trade. The discount applies automatically from the first order.

Why we tell you the cap
A lot of pages about this describe the discount as permanent. It is not: it covers your first $25M of volume. We benefit when you use our code, which is exactly why the terms on this page are the terms in the documentation rather than a rounded-up version of them.
We earn 10% of the trading fees paid by people who sign up through our link, after their own discount, for their first $1B of volume. That funds the site. If any figure here disagrees with the referral documentation, the documentation is right and we want to hear about it.
Frequently asked questions
How do I use a Hyperliquid referral code?
Open the app through a referral link, or type the code on the referrals screen, before you place your first order. The discount then applies automatically to every trade.
Can I add a code after I have already traded?
No. A referral code attaches only to a wallet that has never traded. After your first fill it cannot be added, and there is no support process to change it.
Is the discount permanent?
No. It covers your first $25M of trading volume. For most traders that is effectively the whole time they use the venue, but the cap is real and it is not a lifetime arrangement.
Does it apply to vaults and sub-accounts?
No. The clearinghouse treats vaults and sub-accounts as independent accounts, so a discount on your main address does not reach them.
Does it stack with staking and volume discounts?
Yes, and the three multiply rather than add. The referral discount is applied to whatever rate your volume tier and staking discount have already produced.
How do I check that the code applied?
The referrals screen in the app shows which code is attached to your address. Check it before your first trade, because that is the only point at which it can be changed.
What does the referrer earn?
10% of the trading fees you pay, after your own discount, for your first $1B of volume. That is how this site is funded, and we would rather say so plainly.
